The Roost, inspired by my amazement for coastal birds. Each is so beautiful, graceful & efficient. Years ago when vacationing with family on Edisto Island, I discovered a roost. It was evening fall , all of the birds of the day were gathering for rest and the sheer volume of these beauties in one space was phenomenal! I brought my Father, the original bird lover of the family, to the space to share my discovery. I will never forget setting up our chairs, sitting quietly with my Dad and indulging in nature's spectacle.
