Inspired by one of my very favorite places, Botany Bay Road on Edisto Island in the SC Lowcountry, I followed my heart and created a series.
Botany Bay Road VI is a Soft Pastel painting on mounted, professional grade pastel paper . The painting is 8 in. X 8 in., matted and framed in a 12 in. X 12 in. Frame.
Pastels are pure pigment! Their glorious, rich colors will last a lifetime, and then some, if properly cared for. Soft Pastel paintings must be framed behind glass and kept out of direct sunlight. If cared for properly the luminous colors will provide many years of enjoyment.
